1992 Ferrari F40, I'll let the listing speak:

1992 Ferrari LM Conversion, Yes! conversion as in street legal. let's face it, Ferrari knew what they were doing when they designed and built the F40, and the LM should have stood for Limited Monster, because that's exactly what this car is now, an absolute monster! This USA spec F40 started life as a sluggish, heavy, underpowered "supercar" as decreed by the US government. A real disappointment!!!! Nothing like the performance of a Euro spec F40, which is great if you enjoy just fitting in then this car is not for you....... However, if you want to stand out from the crowd, get to the front of the pack faster than anyone else, and do so in something that you would only see on a track, then this car is for you.

Kinja'd!!!

Much lighter than a US spec car, LM larger turbos installed AND turned back up the 15% the US had Ferrari turn them down, add LM engine internals along with a Tubi Competition Exhaust, Brand new clutch, New upgraded Brembo brakes, New upgraded suspension, New Tires, New carbon fiber rear bonnet, New carbon fiber front bonnet, Custom fabricated Lexan LM door windows, LM Split lip rear Carbon Fiber spoilers, Carbon fiber front splitter, and new carbon fiber doors, fresh paint.....who does that right? We did, and did so for one purpose, to build the fastest, lightest and coolest F40 that can, and should, be driven daily on the streets.

if you're wondering if this beast has had any accidents thus prompting the modifications then put your mind at ease, this F40 has never been in an accident. it also has a clean Carfax. We'd say it's never had paint work but that's not true, because this car was taken completely apart, like the time you took your fathers radio apart to make it better then put it back together so well you could hear aliens applauding your greatness. Nothing was left untouched. when the owner said "do it", he wasn't buying Nike shoes, he was making a man's machine, a rocket ship branded with the prancing horse, glowing fresh red paint and brand new interior, something BMW would proudly call "THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE" and actually mean it.

Vehicles like this come up for sale once in a blue moon.... And since the blue moon was today, guess what, here she is, ready for a new owner to wipe her down with diapers or drive her like they stole it. If you're not ready to make your neighbors cry and wonder where they went wrong, this car is not for you. However, if you're the person that boldly goes where no man has gone before, then get out that checkbook and enjoy the ride! All books, tools and original window sticker included as well as all photos and documents of build and work performed. Only test miles have been put on this car since completion last week, and the odometer reads just over 11K miles. Car has also been featured in a magazine that is due out shortly. Article is available.

Heavy, sluggish are two words that should not appear in the same sentence as F40.

But they only did 0-60 in 1/10 of a second quicker than the 1989 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo.

I've seen this one on various websites a couple of times. If I had the money for one, I'd want it pretty much stock.

Here it is on duPont Registry.
